Do you sell Shotgun Cartridges?

Yes, we sell a range of cartridges from Eley Hawk, Gamebore and Fiocchi. Our range covers clays and game cartridges for 410’s, 20 bores and 12 bores.

How do I apply for a Shotgun Certificate?

Are children okay to come along to the shooting ground and take part?

Yes, they are more than welcome to come along, as long as they are with you at all times and they are wearing ear and eye protection at all times on the range.

 Is clay pigeon shooting difficult?

Clay shooting can be easy or difficult depending on your ability, we will change the targets accordingly.

 Do you cater for stag and hen parties/corporate days?

Yes, we cater for both stag and hen parties. All the prices are on our prices and packages page or contact us to make a bespoke clay day for you.

 Do you sell shotguns, if so what do you sell?

Yes we do sell shotguns, with a wide range of brands from new Caesar Guerinis and a selection of quality second hand guns.

 What equipment or things do I need to bring with me?

If you are a novice/first time shooter, you will need to bring something to cover your shoulder to help protect it from the recoil of the shotgun. Wellingtons are not needed as we have all stone paths. We will provide all eye and ear protection for you.

 Is food available?

Yes, we have just recently fitted a new kitchen, so we can serve all hot and cold drinks and hot and cold food.

Does your system allow me to shoot alone?

Yes, our sporting, FITASC and COMPAK system has a delay, which allows you to press the button to release the clay and have up to 5 seconds to get your gun ready to shoot. Our DTL layout has a speaker system that activates when you say “PULL”, the clay will then be released.

Do I have to book for practice or lessons?

You do not need to book for practice if you have your own certificate. If you do not have a certificate, you are required to go around the ground with an instructor. If you are wanting to have a lesson, booking is required.

When are you open?

Our opening times change throughout the year. The opening times are posted regularly. We are always closed on a Sunday and a Monday.

Do you take cash or card payments?

We take both cash and card payments, however we do not take american express.

What do you sell in the shop?

We sell a wide range of guns, ammunition/cartridges, footwear and clothing suitable for both men, women and young ones.
