Installation
Double click on Kritsj.exe or soundmaps.jar to install it. (JAR files are self installing, JAR files require no installation!)
Usage
Launch Kritsj and you’re ready to go!
To start your own map…
1. Select a waveform. (Noise, Pink Noise, Pink Noise, Noise, White Noise)
2. Click on the ‘+’ and select the DSP program (usually a S.O.D. program) to be played.
3. Click the ‘-‘, and then the ‘+’ to select an instrument to play.
4. Click the ‘X’ to stop the instrument and leave the song.
To download a map…

Open a sound file that has some raw bitmap data.
When Kritsj starts, you will be given the choice to load or create a map.
Select ‘Create’ to create your own custom soundscape!
For the source image, it’s best to use a random background color to start with.
When a sound file is loaded, an image of the waveform is present.
The following windows are displayed:
1. Select a waveform
2. Instrument (will stay on screen)
3. Pitch (can be moved)
4. To stop the instruments and leave the map
Close the Windows.
Create a new map
Select ‘Create Map’ from the File menu.
Choose a background image.
When you select ‘create map’, Kritsj will search for a file, and when it finds one, it will load it.
After it loads the file, it will start recording. The new waveform will be displayed.
When you are satisfied with the map, you can download it.
You can save the map in a file on your computer, so that you can load it again, if you want to.
To make your own sounds, use this:
Select ‘Create Sound’ from the File menu.
Open a wave file.
When Kritsj starts, you will be given the choice to load or create a map.
