Visual Web Pack Installation Notes:
Visual Web Pack installation files are included in the download.
Run “Visual Web Pack.jar” and follow the instructions.
A new folder will be created. Inside the new folder you can find the Java Web Start application.
Run it and follow the instructions to install the application.
Note that this application is not configured to use the latest JSF version.
Upgrading from JSF 2.0 to JSF 2.1
To make use of the new features in JSF 2.1 you need to upgrade your JSF application to it.
To install JSF 2.1, please download and install the latest version of WebLogic 8.1 Application Server.
Once that is done, start the server using the following command:
net start wls
and go to the following folder to find the WLP Control folder:
Control \ Control \ WebLogicInstallation \ Server8 \ \ Resources \ WebServices
In this folder, look for two folders: “com.bea” and “com.bea.weblogic”. One of these folders will be called “webservices”.
Copy that whole folder to your application home directory. Now edit the startup scripts

It’s free for students, teachers and commercial developers. You can buy it from your local computer store in United States for approx $40.-. I usually use Eclipse for the development. But Visual Web Pack is free and better 🙂 Cheers

Hi i am using visual web pack since 1 year now and it is a good tool. I am using eclipse for my normal java development and it is a bit slow but more then that i like it.
the price is little high but you have to download the exe file which is not advised to do so if you have like this if u face any problem with this tool it will be great if you help to know your problem quickly
