Young Shots at Mickley Hall
As the shooting sport gets bigger and bigger, there are more and more younger shooters coming into the sport. Here at Mickley Hall, there is no age limit for taking part in clay pigeon shooting, archery or air rifle, however we do recommend all participants are at least 11 years old. We have shotguns that are ideally suited for younger shooters both 410 and 20 bore, which offer the same great experience but with less recoil. We also have archery bows and air rifles which are smaller, lighter and better suited for a young shooter!
Mickley Hall is always looking for young shots, female and male, who show promise in the sport. We already have several young shots who are showing a lot of promise in the shooting field with county and England team badges already in their possession.
We also run Young Shots days through the year and link in with the Cheshire CPSA and BASC which helps promoting shooting through schools, colleges and universities across the area.
All under 16’s must be accompanied by someone over the age of 21.
